I am a creative problem solver with 15 years of experience. My most recent position as a department manager and creative director with Cambria Corp (a custom programming company), peaked my interest in SEO, Online Marketing and Social Media. I started my internet career in the pharmaceutical advertising area working with Intermedia Inc, which is where I realized I have a great rapport with clients and office mates, consistently fostering better team performance, strengthening client relationships and developing new business. I have always strived to providing quality results and the highest level of client satisfaction. I look at my position in any company as being self-employed and owing it to myself to do my best to perform and learn every day.

I am trying to transition from an Creative Direction/Department Management positions to a position that can utilize the skills that I enjoy using. Like client presentations, client communication, team building, sales, and working with social media and search engine optimization to name a few.

With this economy and the competitive nature of the job market I understand changing career direction is risky, But I would rather be moving forward and happy in my new career direction than remain stationary and unhappy. “If you love what you do you never work a day in your life!”

In the past I have worked with UI Design, Production Artist, Broadcast TV Animator, Interactive Design and more recently implemented SEO for my clients as an added service to my Art Direction. My last position did not give me the leverage / tool or time to delve deep into the clients SEO needs. I am currently studying Search Engine Marketing and Usability at the University of San Francisco, but nothing beats hand on learning.

This site list my past experienced as well as samples of my past design work. My last position was that of Department Manager and Art Director, this position tough me the value of customer service and the need for organization with clients as well as my staff. I also was the face and voice of the sales force for the east coast division of the company. I met with clients, gathered their information and needs, helped them figure out their needs,, wrote proposals and organized the staff and project managed till completion. When you work for a small company you wear many hats, I hope I can find a company that can appreciate this in a candidate.

I find that the current job market is asking for “Programing” knowledge in the design field. I am not a strong coder but have been known to get by when needed to get the job done. I think “Outside the Box” as they say, so I can solve problems in a timely manner.

If you know of a position that my skills would benefit your needs feel free to contact me. Its a small world you never know when paths cross.
