Getting Financially Ready

Before we seriously start looking at houses, we need the financial side in place. If you’re financing, that means a current preapproval. If you’re paying cash, I’ll need current proof of funds. If you’re curious about how much it really costs to buy a house, click here. I also have current lender contacts available below if you need them.

The number that matters

A lender may tell you what you qualify to borrow. I also want to know what monthly payment and overall housing cost actually feel comfortable to you. Those are not always the same number.

Need a lender?

You are always free to choose your own lender. If you need a starting point, here are lender contacts available to you.
